St. Joseph Catholic Church in Athens has generously provided space for a therapist from Holy Family Counseling Center to meet with clients at their parish so that counseling from a Catholic Christian perspective is easily accessible to their parishioners and those in the Kennesaw area.

  • Do I need an appointment?

    Yes, you will need to schedule an appointment in advance for our counseling services.  St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church has provided us with specific days and times for us to see clients at this location.  Therefore, we cannot accommodate walk in appointments.  


    If your situation is an emergency, please go to the nearest hospital or call 911.  Otherwise, please contact our Intake Coordinator at 678-993-8494 to learn more about how to schedule an appointment. 

  • Are Holy Family Counseling Center’s services free?

    There is a fee for counseling services with Holy Family Counseling Center.  Unfortunately, we cannot offer free services.  If finances are an issue, please speak to your counselor about what options may be available to you at this time.  It’s not always possible, but we try hard to not allow finances to be a barrier to you getting the help you need. 

  • Do you have a Spanish Speaking Counselor at this location?

    We do not have a counselor at this location who is bilingual in English and Spanish. Please let our Intake Coordinator know that this is important to you so that they can take this into consideration when selecting a counselor nearby for you. 

  • How long is a typical session?

    A typical counseling session will generally last 50 minutes. 

  • Where do you meet at this parish?

    Each parish has allocated a specific place for our counselors to meet with our clients.  Once you are connected with a counselor, they will share with you the details of where to meet for your scheduled appointment.
